
What is the difference between paprika and bell pepper?
The degree of heat found within peppers, also called pungency or piquancy, is determined by how it measures on the Scoville scale, recorded in Scoville Heat Units (SHU).
Both paprika and bell pepper are good sources of vitamins and antioxidants. Paprika is particularly high in vitamin A, while bell peppers are high in vitamin C. However, paprika is often consumed in smaller amounts than bell pepper, so the health benefits may be less significant.


Another name for Capsicum oleoresin is Capsaicin oleoresin. Capsaicin is the active component responsible for the pungency and heat in chili peppers, and the oleoresin derived from these peppers is often referred to as capsaicin oleoresin.
